Before this year I would not join the group of people doing the six-month check in on my goals but this year is different. Three days into the New Year I had a rollover of which I survived with no physical scratches. A few months later my house was broken into and they stole my children’s video game equipment and a DVD/VCR combo along with ransacking the house. One week later, I was robbed by three young men right in front of my house, (not a physical scratch). I told God the day that I was robbed that I was not playing anymore. I surrender. Apparently God has a lot for me to share and I am a willing vessel.
I don’t have time to play with my gifts anymore, waiting for the right time, the right people, or the right moment. In the words of Sweet Brown, “Ain’t nobody got time for that!” So yes I have joined the people who understand that purpose waits for no one. It’s time to move into high gear and be obedient to God’s direction. No I am not where I expected to be at this point of the year but I am on target to get there.
