Just Another Day's Journey

I have a friend who I sometimes forget that she has gone through some pretty tough challenges. She is one of the most successful people that I know who constantly goes after what she loves. You see no remnant of her past hurt, pain, disappointment, or frustration. You only seem to see joy. Her ability to move beyond her past inspires me to keep pushing through to my own goals and dreams. If she can live in the present while still acknowledging her past I believe I can do it, too.

I know that her secret to living an unstoppable life comes through finding strength in the promises of God. She knows that when she prays that if it agrees with God’s Word that she will receive it. This kind of faith did not come over night but through her daily study of God’s Word.

She is a living example of the scripture that says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17) She fuels her faith on a daily basis and encourages others through what she receives when she reads. If she gets a new understanding of something that she has read, you will definitely hear about it. She doesn’t want to just grow on her own she wants others to grow with her. Her faith is definitely contagious and shedon’t mind her sharing it, either.
